Do You Want Some Popcorn?

We had just sat down to watch "Shrek The Third" when Jody says "Do you want some Popcorn"? Stopped the movie and the search was on for the microwave popcorn thingy. In the cupboard, under the bed, can't take long we live in a 5th wheel. Lo and behold under the sink JoJo dives and there it is, in a big puddle of water, OH Shit we are flooding. It seems sometime in the last few hours the kitchen faucet sprung a leak. Found an old coffee can to catch the water and got up every two hours to empty the bucket. So today I am changing out the old faucet. We did get our popcorn and finished the movie, it's pretty funny. And today Jody is my hero for wanting popcorn and preventing a flood, we already had one of those this year a second would have been very depressing. Off to the plumbing store, caio.

New Hat

Here we are Miata fans, while you were all watching Football or Nascar or catching a few ZZZ's I was installing a New Top on the car. With help from Jody and Stan, we got the job done in a little over 7 hours, not bad for an old fat guy. Let me tell you the inside of that vehicle is pretty damn small and I contorted into some odd positions. Walking with a limp today, wait a minute I do that anyway. I was quoted over $400 to do the change, and that don't count the cost of the top. Got a couple of road trips scheduled in up coming months, me thinks this will make things a bit more pleasant. How did you spend your Sunday?

Saving Money and Having Fun Too!!

Well here we are, our house, our truck to pull our house, and our new economy car. With the price of diesel increasing to the point a full tank is close to $100, we decided to purchase a small used economy car which when I filled it today from Empty in only cost $27. And then of course we had to go for a ride with the top down. Bet you didn't have your top down today. Oh, if you hadn't noticed it is a Miata, it was either this, a Lexus or a Ford Focus, what would you chose?
