As of late yesterday there were over 1000 fires in California, looking at a map show us to be right in the middle of a lot of them. It's very thick and smelly and hard to breathe, stay in the house don't go out side for anything especially walking the dogs. This morning things are a bit better, we can see across the lakes to the back side of property, if the wind starts to blow it could all be back in our faces. Send gas masks!

wondering if any of those fires are near Grandma Lavann's ranch, lots of prime burning material there as I remember. Royce
Just looked at the fire map and nothing shows anywhere close to the ranch. Things are clearing up a little bit, we are forecast for thunder storms with dry lightning so any thing is possible.
All the smoke is coming here. Spreading the wealth. Just be careful!
AH...local news shows much smoke infiltrating north to Eugene during the Olympic track and field trials. Nothing burning here yet. Royce
To bad their isn't more pot growing in the woods we would all be having a reeeeeeeeal good time.
